Lesson 1: Introduction to ICT

Information and Commnication Technology helps me to develop my ability and  to learn new software quickly and efficiently. I thought that this lesson is very hard for me because I'm not good in programming but it was fun to learn new from this subject. And ICT teaches me on how to be safe and responsible  when using the Internet.

Lesson 2: Rules of Netiquette

This lesson  made me realize that we should take care of our accounts online and internet is just an extension of or human society so that we should maintain the standard online, as we do in or real time society. It made me aware of the do's and don't when using an internet and I was able to be careful on posting and sharing information online.

Lesson 3: Advanced Word Processing

Here in lesson 3, I learned how to create or make a mail merge . Mail merge is a useful tool that allows you to produce multiple letters, labels, envelopes, name tags, and more using information stored in a list, database, or spreadsheet. This can help to make the resume easier.

Lesson 4: Advanced Spreadsheet Skills

In this lesson , I learned how to enter , edit , print and manipulate information in a tabulate form. Also I learned how to create a series of numbers, inserting and deleting rows and columns and using formulas and functions. And also the definitions of terms.

Lesson 5: Advanced Presentation Skills

This lesson taught me how to use hyperlinks to improve the power point presentation. Also the types of views in MS PowerPoint which are the; outline view, slide sorter view, normal view and notes page view. And also I learned more about the animation and transition of the movement of the slide. Also to embed an excel file to PowerPoint Presentation.

Lesson 6: Imaging and Design for Online Environment

This lesson broaden my knowledge about the basic principle of Infographics. It help me manage my information about myself. Not only it help me in creating an Infographics about myself but also for my future purpose.

Lesson 7: Online Platform as tool for ICT Content and Development

           

           

           In this lesson I've learned about the purposes of online platforms and applications. On how to apply web design principles and elements using online creation tools, platforms and application and to create a web page design using templates and online platforms. And also from this lesson I've learned the difference between the two platforms. In social media platforms like facebook and twitter , you can only post a status about a topic or a headline only but in blogging platforms is where you can explain the topic more in-depth than the social media platforms.


Lesson 8: Collaborative ICT Development

In this lesson , I learn about the advantages of using online collaborative tools.This can help to communicate easily. Same with the online collaborative tools which means are tools that can help your group “go the distance” and work as if you already have your own office. Working together does not necessarily mean you have to be physically together.

Lesson 9: Interactive multimedia

In this lesson, I learn that interactive multimedia can help me in school and the interactive multimedia allow to control and combine in different types of media.

Lesson 10: ICT as Platform for change

               The lesson i understand is the importance of ICT as a platform for social change. Like the change.org website, people sign the petition and as much as possible the government will take an action to the problem that written in the petition. There are lots of use of media, they also change our lives by spreading an information whether it is good or bad.

What are the implications of media and information to an individual?

               The media and information has a lot of benefits that can help us for our daily life. Example of this is you will be aware on your society that somethings happened , it will make you think to be alert because  you can be in danger if you don't know the news of your place. Also they can share or give information to the other people that is far from you to help them on their hard time.
